Part 1 of ‘things you didn’t know about Iran Trotter’

The Iran Trotter host Javad Gharaei has in interviews with local media outlets, made so many interesting tips about the show and himself. Here’s part 1 of his comments.

1- I started my trips as early as 17, with northern Tehran mountains, known as the Alborz mountain range.

2- After several years, I found out that hitting a variety of summits wasn’t the kind of thing to bring me tranquility.

3- So, I started to reconsider the entire issue, and that was when the nature and the people living there, grabbed my attention.

4- That was the beginning of my trips around the country, when I would study the life, customs and traditions in a variety of areas.

5- I worked for 2 years with late Mohammad Ali Inanlou, the originator of ecotourism in Iran; in the meantime, I was passing filmmaking courses.

6- That was when, in 2009, the ‘Iran Trotter’ idea crossed my mind, because I was determined to record my viewpoint toward Iran and the Iranians.

7- The first episode of the series was broadcast on Iran state TV in spring 2013. It was a great success and was broadly welcomed by the audience.
